December At DGH Neurodivergent Consultancy
December has arrived with that strange shimmer it always brings the sense of doors closing for the year even as new ones swing open. And for DGH Neurodivergent Consultancy, this month brings one of the biggest openings yet.
The official launch of NeuroHub has been nothing short of astonishing. A little idea, seeded in the cracks between burnout, community longing, and a hunger for deeper neurodivergent-competent spaces, has now taken shape as a thriving membership community. We’re already welcoming nearly 50 members, with conversations sparking, resources expanding, and the beginnings of a genuinely collaborative learning environment taking root.
NeuroHub is now the central home for my work:
It’s emotional, in its own quiet way, to see this many people stepping onto the same path at the same time. Something rhizomatic is happening; new roots spreading outwards, people connecting with people, ideas growing in unexpected directions. It finally feels like we’ve built a place where neurodivergent knowledge isn’t just delivered… it’s shared.
I couldn’t be happier to be running this community alongside Helen Edgar, my friend and colleague, who brings a great deal of value to the Autistic community through her Autistic Realms platform.
Two New Podcasts
This month also marks the birth of two new podcast projects, each exploring a different corner of the neurodivergent world with the kind of depth and honesty so many of us have been craving.
Neurodiversity In Discussion…
A live-recorded conversational podcast unpacking concepts such as monotropism, lilipadding, Autistic burnout, neurodivergent pain, and the wider politics of neurodiversity. It’s raw, thoughtful, and beautifully human; much like the community that inspired it.
Substance Use For Neurodivergent Adults
A dedicated space exploring an area that has been neglected for far too long. This podcast pulls together my own lived experience, academic research (including Munday et al., 2025), and the stories of neurodivergent adults navigating substance use, recovery, and identity. It’s the kind of resource I wish had existed when I was early in my recovery journey.

Both will be integrated into NeuroHub as they grow, with recordings and discussions available for members.
Upcoming Events
December and early 2026 are shaping up to be full of opportunities for learning, connection, and professional development. Alongside this, I will be selling and signing books at the Autistic Inclusive Meets Christmas Craft Fair in both Brighton and London, click here to visit their website. All my events are listed here:
Current highlights include:
Substance Use for Neurodivergent Adults – (Live Podcast) A deep dive into the intersections of neurodivergence, addiction, trauma, and recovery.
Neurodivergent Burnout – (Live Podcast) Understanding burnout as a crisis of connection and exploring practical strategies grounded in lilipadding and nesting.
Embracing Our Autistic Selves – A reflective, identity-centred discussion and course for Autistic adults.
Each event is designed to be both professionally informative and personally grounding, an antidote to neuronormative training that often leaves people feeling boxed in rather than opened up.

Looking Ahead: Rewriting Autism (Launching Early 2026)
Before signing off this December update, I want to share a final announcement, one that’s been quietly growing behind the scenes.
In early 2026, I’ll be launching a brand-new course called Rewriting Autism.
This course (hosted on NeuroHub initially) will pull together my work on neurodivergent identity, psychopolitics, rhizomatic community, monotropism, the Chaotic Self, and the politics of neuroaffirmation, reshaping how we talk about, theorise, and live Autistic lives. It’s designed for practitioners, families, and Autistic people alike, and it will be hosted through NeuroHub as a flagship long-form learning experience.
This course will be delivered alongside Helen Edgar.
Something bold is coming. Something necessary.
December feels like a hinge; one year settling, another preparing to unfurl. Thanks to everyone who’s stepped into NeuroHub, turned up to events, listened to the new podcasts, or quietly shared this work with someone who needed it. This consultancy is many things, but above all it’s a community in motion. And that motion is only getting stronger.
More soon.
